Dear fellow TREK road bike enthustasts I am desperatly trying to find out, which year and model my TREK road bike is. I was first thinking, a "2005 TREK 1500" but I cannot find this exact color and set-up anywhere in lists, other users posts etc. - can anybody point me in the right direction? Also, these are all stock components (except the saddle), there was nothing swapped with other bike models or generations - I've also seen this exact bike listed several times here in Switzerland and... Hi and Happy New Year! I’m looking at purchasing a Trek Checkpoint but have had issues with my past few bikes having rattly internal cables. Can anyone tell me whether the Checkpoint or other Trek bikes come with preinstalled cable sleeves to eliminate the rattle or do you have to do this yourself? Thank you J ..read more

I've been offered a good deal on a 2022 Domane SL6 AXS Gen 3. My current road bike is a 2009 Madone, which I love, but I'm looking for something more in the endurance category, with a softer ride and more upright posture. I test rode the Domane and was amazed at how smooth and comfortable the ride was! I especially like the fact that this bike has both front and rear IsoSpeed decouplers, which Trek doesn't do anymore. Here's a link to the model: [URL... Good deal on Domane SL6 -- buy it ..read more

I have a 1999 trek Y-foil 66 that needs repainting. It's in perfect shape & used almost daily, but has a few chills When I repaint completely I'll also need the Trek and Y-foil decals. It is what I call "Electric blue." Does anyone know where I could get this color paint, and please don't tell me to go to an auto parts store. I want the exact same color and paint. Thanks Jeff ..read more

Two weeks ago I bought a new Trek Checkpoint ALR5 bicycle. Bike rides pretty well. It has aluminium frame. I bought it primaraly for bike packing trips as it has ton of mounting points. After riding it for 2 weeks and hitting some easy gravel roads I found two relatively small dents on bicycle's frame. I don't know when I got them. Maybe they are caused by flying rocks from the wheels. Maybe this dent was already there when I bought it. In total I rode around 100 km on gravel trails and the... Hello, I’m in need of a new cassette for my Trek Domane Al3. It’s currently running a 11-32t but I would like to fit either a 34t or maybe a 36t due to the endless hill climbs I’m doing. Will both these fit my bike without having to change anything on the bike? cheers in advance ..read more
