He told us that it’s very probable that the ARI program will change soon, in line with what other European countries have done - higher investment thresholds and/or stricter conditions. I have just started my research but I am puzzled by the different fees quoted by consulting companies and immigration law firms. How much is the initial application with AIMA (the Portuguese governmental immigration office)? 773 Euros or 605? How about dependents? Free under 18? And over 18? Additional 83 Euros? Or full cost? Same question regarding the fee for the residence card at the end of the application process - 7730 Euros? 6045? And what about the dependents?
