Take a break
Danielle LaPorte
by Jenn Orajay

Here’s the most powerful life changing advice I’ve ever been given, by the wisest person I’ve ever known. Take breaks. That’s it, take a break. Micro breaks. Dance breaks. Breathing breaks. Pee breaks. Breaks are LOVE. Weekends. Evenings. Sabbaticals. Time out. Regroup. Pause. Savasana. Nap. Sleep. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Danielle LaPorte (@daniellelaporte) You go so much farther—and arrive alive—when you just… take some breaks, babe. You are loved. You are LOVE ITSELF. The most powerful possible yes to women

The most powerful possible Yes to women The most powerful possible Yes to the women determined to restore The Divine to where it has been pummeled out of memory, where denial is so calcified that our beauty is last to be seen in economics and science and law— laws that are too small for what our bodies know to be true. The most powerful possible Yes to women… to the dark, the spacious, the sweet, the jaded, the women who live as certain as light rays, who renovate broken boardrooms and policies with justified anger and overwhelming Love— Love of inclusion, of ecology, of bone solid Truth—Love ..read more

2 choices to make when you’re in pain
Danielle LaPorte
by Jenn Orajay

What’s your pain theme these days (this lifetime). Is it begging for love? Or screaming for it? Or is it just annoying? Pain is just your woundedness saying, “See me? Love me?”  So see it. And Love it. Acknowledge it. And then… you have two choices (I am oversimplifying, but this is true…) 1. You can analyze and process your pain. Where did this pain come from, what does it mean, what’s the lesson here?  OR 2. You can just offer it up to the Divine to take care of it for you. Like so: I trust The Divine can handle my bits of agony and transform it in a flash of Grace. She’s got me ..read more

You can be exhausted AND grateful at the same time
Danielle LaPorte
by Jenn Orajay

Have the last 3 years been the longest decade of your life? At the end of last year I was bone tired. And I felt radiant. Exhausted beyond. And grateful. There was extenuated global upheaval! I launched HOW TO BE LOVING! I met the Love of my life! Let go of two thirds of my material things, my house and my car! Moved my mother across the country! Restructured a whole lot of business! (That’s a lot of exclamation points. I usually use them sparingly.) What helped me tap happiness even in the midst of body aches and mental fog? I suspended judgment for my fatigue. I didn’t tell myself to push ..read more

8 questions to see how your beliefs are healing you
Danielle LaPorte

Countless mystics throughout time agree that the reason for our spiritual endeavouring—our devotion—is liberation, and only liberation. The “work” in our light work creates a freedom from afflictive states: anxiety, selfishness, shallowness, insecurity, always comparing ourselves to other people, restlessness, fear…  If the whole point of our devotion is liberation, then here’s the question:  Do your beliefs liberate you? You can turn this into a journaling exercise. Or walk through this with me on this classic episode of WITH LOVE, DANIELLE. Why might you believe in… original si ..read more

How do you withhold love?
Danielle LaPorte
by Jenn Orajay

Conceptually, we know that “giving more Love” is a more harmonious way to live. But since we’re actually made of Love––it’s our true nature–– how about this approach:  What if we promised ourselves to never withhold love? You don’t have to hyperfocus on loving “in the right way”. You don’t have to muster up the “love” or manufacture it. Because the Love is already within you. And it naturally wants to be expressed. So just don’t… withhold it. This will transform your entire life, by the way. This will singularly deepen ALL of your relationships. It’s simple––it’s often difficult, and it ..read more

7 ways to be sincere in business

I once told a potential mortgage broker, “I’d prayed for a clear answer about who to go with, and my prayers were leading me elsewhere.” He told me he wished more people were truthful about such decisions and it inspired him to look within more for the answers. We stayed connected until he left that bank. I had just moved the closing date of a business deal with my lawyers: “I know this has been a protracted deal. But guess what? It’s better to change the signing date for astrological reasons. Mercury Retrograde. I can explain if you’re curious. I’m grateful for the pivot.” Lawyer Lady replie ..read more

1 way to improve your relationship with your (unseen) spiritual support system
Danielle LaPorte
by Jenn Orajay

Consistency in relationships is powerful. Showing up for our humans is with steady love—it’s everything, really. But what about our relationship with the DIVINE, our non-human family?  Consider this: you’re in a relationship with your (unseen) spiritual support system. Do our guides and angelic team “rely” on us? Maybe not, but ALL relationships thrive with consistent dedication. Actions speak. You could declare, “I’m going to show up every day at seven o’clock to journal or pray or meditate––my ancestors can rely on me.” How empowering and beautiful does that feel?
