This very special John Deere Model M with some remarkable history. The John Deere Model M was a 2-cylinder row-crop tractor produced between 1947 to 1952 in Iowa, USA. The M had been in development for several years prior to its release in 1947, when it replaced the H, L and LA models. Three additional variants of the M were introduced over time: the MT Tricycle, MC Crawler and the MI Industrial model. We are so excited to share this latest arrival with you – what a uniquely charming tractor this is! Whilst very little is known about the most recent ownership of this tractor, the history of this French company is quite a story. The Vierzon 201 is a single cylinder diesel tractor which was manufactured in France by a company called Société Française de Vierzon (SFV). The Model T is an iconic vehicle which won the affections of millions of Americans for its affordability and reliability. This was one of the first mass produced vehicles which allowed Henry Ford to achieve his aim of manufacturing the universal car. This 1926, Canadian built Ford T is a 1-Tonne Truck version. Well what a year it's been. Nobody could have predicted what 2020 had in store for us, but we have made it through! Whilst we may have had big plans for this year; attending local vintage rallies and hosting our very first open day, like everyone this year, our plans have been put on hold. But we're certainly not going to dwell on all the things we weren't able to do, when we have so many achievements we can be proud of this year. Tamar Vintage Tractors are very proud to present this Rumely Oil Pull Model X. The Rumely Oil Pull was sold between 1909 and 1930 by the Advanced Rumely Company. They were powered by an internal combustion magneto fired engine which is designed to burn kerosine of any grade. The Rumely certainly has quite a presence. Matt Young of Tamar Vintage Tractors is delighted to present this 1931 Rumely 6A. The 6A was the last Rumely model ever made before Allis Chalmers took over the company. The remaining 6A models were assembled by Allis-Chalmers themselves, throughout 1931. The Rumely 6A has a unique six-cylinder engine which was built by Waukesha to Advanced-Rumely’s specifications with a three-speed sliding gear transmission. It has been a while since we brought you one of our 'Classic Tractor Collection' videos, but when this stunning Oliver 88 arrived this week we where truly inspired! Combined with the break in the weather, it was an absolute pleasure to gather some images of this working classic.
