Hello all, I am in the process of replacing the clutch slave cylinder in m 1985 Countach and ordered the clutch slave cylinder from AwItalian. It is the wrong part, looks like somehow my 85 has the early style part. Does anybody in the US have the older style clutch slave cylinder? Hi, Is anyone aware of any no drill options for installing license plates on the front of a Countach or a Diablo? NZ law requires them (and unlike Texas actually enforces the law) and we have aluminium plates here in NZ (unlike the UK where it seems the plastic plates can be 2-side taped to the front?) so they're moderately heavy. Laws are very strict - I cannot have plastic plates made, nor vinyl stickers - I must use the officially produced NZ plates. Any suggestions? Dino ..read more

Maybe an idea to have a tech section here on lchat for the almighty Countach! I want to replace my rubber clutch line on the clutch slave cylinder. Not that it is broken but as preventive maintenance! I just replaced the brake rubber lines with new ones that I got from Goodridge. Stainless steel braided type. Very nice piece. I am seeking any information on my countach HLA12172, I am about to embark on a major restoration and would appreciate any information. I am aware that the car was in Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and finally in the UK.
