Figured I might as well start up a build thread for ole #30. I am the third owner now of this unfinished car. The previous two owners had the car in running go kart stage. My newly acquired unfinished GTM#30 is basically a go kart stage car with the body sitting on it. I want to remove the body, to concentrate working on the go kart. The body does not seem the be the strongest thing in the world, and I don't want to damage/crack it on removal. I also don't want to warp or damage it as it sits for a while. I have a gen 1. Im almost to the bodywork stage. I dont mind doing most of the work but really dont want to mess with the doors and getting the windows sealing correctly. There are several unfinished kits for sale. Some without tranaxles included. What is the cost breakdown on a mendeola setup (assuming sdr5?). I searched the forums and could not find any recent info.
