As the title reads, I currently have a small bag of ADA that I’m staking via a Nano X that is paired with Daedalus. I recently became aware that the paper sheet where I kept my 24 seed phrase has gone missing. At this point, I have no idea if I or someone in my household threw it away mistakenly. I’m not gonna wait around to find out, so I’ve ordered a new Nano S+, which I’ve already set up with LedgerLive and have successfully moved other coins I had in the Nano X over to the Nano S+. Most of the apps created are going to be on the web/chain. You could make a list of places you can go. But most blockchains don’t interact with a hard coded app other than the wallet itself. Now don’t get me wrong. I know there are apps in ethereum. I myself use zapper to track three of my different wallets in one spot because it also supports multi-chain. One day I hope it supports cardano. I think that is a very interesting question.There is also the security aspect with the apps. If anyone can build an app on the blockchain who does the vetting and curating? Maybe some sort of fee with every download that goes into a reserve that is used to pay a third party that does the auditing of the apps? But that would still make it centralized in a way with the auditors having the say on which apps are allowed. Maybe all apps should be open source and curated by the community ..read more
