Newbie to this forum, so please excuse if there's things I gotta learn.
I am the owner of 1965 289-hipo which I ordered and purchased new from my local dealer and now has 14000 original miles, even original air in the spare, never on the ground. I've noticed many6 65-66 models with

Hi all...I have a 68 coupe with a numbers matching 302 but the car is badged as a 289 as are the Vin details.....does anyone know any history behind how this came about. Just talking to another Mustang owner at Whangamata Beach Hop NZ and he says he has heard of this before, but has no other knowledge of this quirk...so to speak.
