I have a 2006 550i V8 4.8L 6spd Manual RWD. Started with the clutch going out. Replaced the clutch and flywheel. Drove great! Driving a week ago, and just started running rough like a coil pack went out. Changed spark plugs and coil packs. Now the vehicle cranks and revs, but idles very rough and spits a little bit. Throwing codes P0014 and P0017 initially; found some oil on my camshaft position sensor. I cleaned that off, cleared codes. Vehicle still idles rough and throwing P0014 code. In 1969 a friend of mine bought a 1938 BMW 328 in pieces in Cleveland. He put the car back together but didn't restore it. In 1989 a dealer from South Carolina was in Phoenix, where my friend was then living, and he bought the car. A month later a guy from somewhere in England called my friend, saying he had bought the car from the dealer. I asked my friend if he ever had seller's remorse about any cars he had owned and he said only the BMW. He went on to say that he wonders what... 1938 BMW 328 ..read more

The fog lights on my 1997, E31, 840ci are always on, (even the dash indicator light) even with the ignition turned off. I also pulled the fuse and they stayed on. They are on eventhough the headlights are off. I finally disconnected the bulbs so as not to drain the battery. I think the problem may be with the Light Control Module (LKM) part number 41351383412. I can not find another module. Does anyone know of a source or some place that can diagnois and repair my module. Thanks for your... 840 Fog lights always on ..read more

Hey guys and girls. I'm really stuck. I have an 1983 735i and I cannot find a radiator for it. Obviously it has an integrated hydraulic oil cooler. Car runs like a train but the auto box started acting up. After hours of problem solving I found there was a leak between the oil cooler and the water cooling system. Only remedy is a new radiator. Please help if you can. My car is a beautiful one and I miss it. Many thanks Rob ..read more
