Yesterday I had a call from the doctor to advise that HPV has been detected on my smear and subsequently High Grade Dyskaryosis (severe) changes have been found. I have an appointment at the hospital next Thursday for a colposcopy. I am 41, and regretfully I have not had a smear for 13 years. I am so angry with myself. I went to the doctors as I have been suffering with long and heavy periods. At the same time as having a smear test, I also had swabs and bloods. Hi ladies, I have 1A2 adenosquamous with LVSI that was removed with a cone biopsy. Especially because of LVSI, a radical hysterectomy is next. (Terrified of course, but what else is new when it comes to the C word and its treatment). Before my RH, I’m having a pelvic MRI with IV contrast and an abdominal and pelvic CT with oral contrast. I’ve never had any scans aside from a regular x-ray and I’m hoping some might be willing to share their experiences or any advice to prep (mentally and/or physically). Hi ladies, Short: 39 year, CC, stage 1B2, lymph node clear, LVSI present radical histerectomy in 06 March, all out including ovaries + 54 lymph nodes removed all clear. I had today the appoiment for radio chimio, next week I will start. Because I am obsessed about this type of SCC grade 3 and also about the marker KI-67 that in my case is really high I go also for a second opinion. Hi all, I finished my cancer treatment last September after an arduous 5 months. I have found it very hard to come to terms with how I am feeling now. My body has changed dramatically, my husband still doesn’t talk about it much , I feel unattractive to him and myself worth is really low. Hi there Had an abnormal smear test back in November, got my results in January was booked in for a Colposcopy March 22nd where they took 2 biopsies. Hi Ladies, I had my results come back from my second LEEP. Positive Margins HSIL still. . I was told that sometimes the LEEP can burn and kill whatever was remaining so that even though margins are positive it isn’t always a repeat LEEP needed. Does anyone have experience with this? Hi everyone. I went to the GP today due to irregular bleeding, bloating and increased d/c. She had a look at my cervix and then got a second opinion. I was told my cervix has what looks like a large extropion but it is bumpy and a two week pathway referral needs to be made. The scary word of cancer was mentioned and now I am a paranoid anxious mess. I have 4 children, full time student and can’t help but think the worse. Hello Members of this Forum, I am 41 year old mother of 3 kids age 12+,10+,8+ . had last year october surgery of appendicitis afterward since november having bleeding issue bleeding only stop when I am Cyclopran and Provera .Doctors did the scan and camera examination not found any polyps and Fibroids . yesterday i had Uterus biopsy . live in Ireland they suggested results will come in almost a month . Nurse also recommended to go for Coil which i dont wanted to have instead of prefer to have hysterectomy. Any advise my mental situation is getting worse every passing day , do full time IT job ..read more
