The two bands join Metallica, Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne for what is shaping up to be the best fest in the West
Yesterday it was reported that Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne and Iron Maiden had all posted a short video on their respective socials teasing something called PowerTrip.
It was later reported by The Scenestar that PowerTrip is a new festival coming to the Empire Polo Club In Indio, California, scheduled to take place Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8.

New song will be fourth track shared from forthcoming album
Metallica have shared three songs - "Lux Æterna," "Screaming Suicide" and "If Darkness Had a Son" - from their forthcoming album, 72 Seasons, and now it appears that a fourth single is imminent. This morning, March 27, the metal legends shared a brief clip of new music on their social media profiles, captioned with the date 03.30.23.

David Lee Roth made a surprise appearance at a corporate event in Las Vegas on March 23, performing the Van Halen classic, “Panama,” with all-star cover band Royal Machines.

Bach guested with the band at their Las Vegas House of Blues residency
Tesla wrapped up their first residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on March 25, and the band ended the five-show run in fine form, with a guest appearance from Sebastian Bach. The former Skid Row singer, and current Vegas resident, joined the band onstage to perform their hit cover of the Five Man Electric Band’s "Signs."

The band kicked off their 2023 run with a triumphant Loud Park performance
The reformed Pantera — vocalist Philip Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde and Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante — played their first show of 2023 on March 25, at Intex Osaka in Osaka, the first of two performances headlining Japan's Loud Park festival. The concert also marked the return of bassist Rex Brown, who had to sit out the band's final 2022 shows after contracting Covid.

New album 'Black Diamonds' is out in April
L.A. Guns have shared the official video for their newest single, the epic power ballad, 'Diamonds. The track is the third song to be released from the band's forthcoming album, Black Diamonds, following "You Betray" and "Shattered Glass."

The Mötley man contributed bass to a new Dolly tune
Nikki Sixx has been keeping busy lately on Mötley Crüe's World Tour, but apparently the bassist still has time for extracurricular activities, among them contributing bass to country legend Dolly Parton's anticipated rock album.
In an update posted to his official Twitter page on March 23, Sixx wrote:

Few photographers were as integral to the '80s hard rock and metal scene as Mark Weiss, whose images of everyone from Ozzy, Mötley Crüe and Van Halen to Twisted Sister, Kiss and Skid Row are burned into the brains of every fan who came of age in the decade and since.

The band is currently touring the U.S. with Buckcherry
Skid Row recently stopped by Gator 98.7 FM in West Palm Beach, Florida for a Q&A and special acoustic performance in the station's Gator Garage at iHeartRadio Performance Studio. Among the songs the band played were Skid Row classics “18 & Life” and “Makin’ a Mess,” as well as the new track “October's Song,” from the band’s 2022 release, The Gang’s All Here.

Film will focus on the band's formative years
Longtime Kiss manager Doc McGhee has confirmed that a Kiss biopic is in the works. In an interview on The Rock Experience with Mike Brunn, McGhee said that the film will focus on the legendary band’s beginnings.
“It’s a biopic about the first four years of Kiss,” McGhee said. “We’re just starting it now. We’ve already sold it, it’s already done, we have a director. That’s moving along and that’ll come in [20]24.”
