Had my first appointment with my dry eye specialist and I was like 90% symptom free today but opted to have an expression in office as per their suggestion. The numbing drops were extremely irritating and burned my eyes and the expression itself was pretty unpleasant. I got PRK 8 years ago for -1.25 and -1.25 but my eyesight is now -.75 and -1.25. I have slight dry eyes and use drops usually once or twice a day max. My cornea is apparently 515 microns thick. Guys please help, I just had a chalazion for 3 months and had surgery to remove it (other eye, upper eyelid). It’s only been a month and now I’m dealing with this. What should I do? Has anyone else ever experienced dry eye and other strange symptoms , but it more complicated than just Dry Eyes ? I have been experiencing some crazy stuff with the last couple weeks. Noticing that there’s some changing in my eyes. I have pre-existing conditions in both eyes. I have keratoconus , astigmatism and dry eye. i have severe dry eye i believe. I got an ipad today. Just the regular 10.5 inch or whatever (not the air). One thing im afraid of is how much ill be able to actually enjoy it. If you have an ipad then what settings do you use to make it easier to read? Ive tried changing the font size to a largish size but on google the words are still small lol but i havent tried reading on it much yet so we will see.
