To say I was shaking would be an understatement…OH MY GOD I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT. I thought for sure that I was in for an R this late in the cycle but the universe had other plans ??? I got the call from Dean Deal around noon pacific time. I’m still not 100% convinced it’s real but she knew my name and my address so i’m leaning towards this all being real. I guess you really never know what’s in store for you!!!! (stats in flair)

Apparently they’re still giving them out. They kept apologizing for how long it’s taken and hope I can “still seriously consider them as an option despite the notice” ?.

The elitist law school culture is getting to me. I keep seeing people say there’s probably no point in going to law school if you aren’t attending a T25. In that case, I should just give up. The only school I got accepted into thus far (still waiting on 5 more) is deemed predatory and I would probably be better off not attending and just searching for jobs w/ my bachelors.
Sorry if this is a depressing and pointless post.
I most likely won’t get accepted into any “good” schools and I will accept that as redirection, coming to terms with law not being for me.

... I also had the COVID year my freshman year, so I basically knew 50 people and had 3 years of college. I'm not giving a single alumni donation till the day I die.

I’m in the process of drafting a LOCI and would appreciate seeing an example of a successful letter that turned a WL into an A. Thank you!

~3.65 (int. GPA but US citizen), 172, nURM
Not super shocked but still wasn’t exactly how I wanted things to go. Was getting really tired of the waitlists!! There are a lot of great things about UT though and I’m looking forward to starting law school in the fall. Hook ‘em!!!
