Had a Land Rover sitting in the garage for three months 2018 discovery sport went to start the battery was dead. We put a new battery in the absolute same exact type and we’re getting the message charging system fault we checked all the charging system ,connections ,alternator charge, battery state of charge, took it to a dealer. They said it could be a PCM but it probably isn’t. We’re thinking it probably just needs to be reprogrammed , does anybody know anything about this ..read more

Its all started from the day when we opened the Diesel Particle filter to check its condition. later we just put everything into its place and when we run the engine it started. The rpm keeps jumping down and back to 1. the performance restriction error showed up on display further when shifting gear its more sticky and the response of the gear shift late or sudden. Recently came from a 2019 F Pace and enjoying the 2023 Disco Sport SE. One item that I don;t like in the back up camera as when you're turning the pic looks like a fish bowl. Don't recall that with the F Pace. Thinking that maybe it's the left side of the screen showing the overhead back up. Is there anyway to delete that feature and maybe it would help? Picked up an 2023 a few weeks ago and needed to use the windshield washer a few times and it appears to be going through the fluid rather quickly with no apparent leaks. First time when I needed to add fluid, I went to open the cap on the neck and the neck pulled off. So from what I can see replaced it back in the proper place as it really can't go back wrong. I have a 2016 disco sport that I bought with a broken timing chain. I replaced the chain, head gasket, and all related components. Now it won't idle and it has codes for idle air control valve, vacuum leak, and misfire. From my reading, the next step is to clean the idle air control valve but I can't find information on where it is. Does this car have one? Hey everyone, I've managed to lose both sets of keys to my 2018 Discovery Sport. I do have the Land Rover "remote" app, so I can unlock and start my car. With no key fob in sight, can I drive it without it going into lock down mode? If so, how far? How many times?
