Maverick Vinales made it a perfect weekend of pole position, new lap record and wins in the Sprint race and the Grand Prix race aboard his Aprilia RS-GP at the Circuit of The Americas. In doing so, Vinales became the first rider to win Grand Prix races on three different makes of motorcycle – Suzuki, Yamaha and now Aprilia. Colombia’s David Alonso won the FIM Moto3 World Championship race Sunday at the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas at Circuit of The Americas, in Austin, Texas. The CFMOTO Valresa Aspar Team rider won the 14-lap race by 5.163 seconds.   David Alonso (80) leads Matteo Bertelle (18) and Daniel Holgado (96) at COTA. Maverick Vinales continued his strong recent run of form by topping the MotoGP warmup session Sunday morning at the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), in Austin, Texas.
