I’m looking to put in a backsplash and am unsure of which way to lay out the tiles. I’ll be doing behind the stovetop and the whole corner behind the sink. My question is, which layout is best? Fully framed? Partially? Or just a row ontop? Ignore the sand colored tiles - the green ones are what I’ll be using.

Any idea how if I can buy the same type of sink as a single bowl instead of a double? If so, please post a link.

My much repaired 20ish years old can opener has finally worn out. I'm hoping for recommendations for a new one.

My partner and I are renovating our kitchen, and we are having extreme difficulty choosing tiles for the back splash. I want something plain as I'm concerned something colourful will take away from the wood/sink/taps however he likes colour as he thinks it brings out the wood/sink/taps.
I do like the green and the terracotta, but I'm also concerned they might just be trends. Pictures attached for reference.
