I was driving my boat today and it was working fine. All of a sudden it went dead in the water after a turn and nothing worked. I kayaked out to it and it was beeping. Ok, fun one for everyone, recently got hold of an old RC boat hull and a broken battery angle grinder, the grinder will supply the drive speed, but I have no idea about control units and rudders and how to get that all to work. I bought a RC sailing boat as a present for my son. The boat used to belong to enthusiast who had multiple boats and his family sold them after he died. Unfortunately that means I can’t ask the previous owner any questions. I‘m an experienced sailor so setting up the rig etc. is no problem but I‘m completely clueless when it comes to RC stuff.
