Thanks Alan.
Although nothing Lemke does now is of interest to me, I’d love to know if there is an archive of what they have produced in an attempt to complete my record of the Berlin S-Bahn units issued under their label some 25 years ago. I haven’t any luck on the net so only know of those I have or have seen for sale but I know I am missing a few.

Whisper Mode On ...and the 'v' of course stands for verbrennungsmotor, which could be stretched to verbrennungsmotor (thereby making it Klvm ) Whisper Mode Off
but laughing out loud!!!
p. s. also added another "Kl" from eisenbahnstiftung to the above linked thread

Additionally, this photo raises some interesting points, as explained in the text after:
Small wagons are lightweight vehicles and therefore do not reliably affect rail contacts. For operational purposes, journeys by small wagons are only treated as shunting journeys within stations and as blocked journeys on the open track and when crossing from or into the station; main signals and the track block must not be activated for them. For this reason, the traffic controller must provide information and auxiliary barriers to prevent inadvertent release for a regular train. Klv 12 4625 of the Limbu ..read more

I'd start by gently squeezing across one end of the roof and seeing if you can get a corner to come up. If that works, the roof will then sort of 'unpeel', in that gently pulling will get the lugs to pop out one by one. That's how I do it with the GFN models of 1934 stock anyway.

Next question: how does one remove the roof? I'm contemplating adding lighting to it, once again don't want to break anything when opening it.
