In games with large casts of minor characters like Zelda, there are always hidden gems. Small pieces of Developer inside jokes or surprisingly well-written side-stories that leave an impression on you even greater than the actual plot of the game. Some of these characters are beloved enough by the audience to become recurring monstrosities (looking at you, Tingle), and some have only poorly understood line before never being seen again ("I AM ERROR").

So 2 teasers in and Link has a completely different type of garb than his good ol' green tunic thingy majiggy
Cool beans, now I realize most you (and myself) might go: "well hell, Link doesn't always start mean and green, sometimes he has pajamas and shat"
That's true, but I hope that's not the case. I hope it's and hint at Link barbie dress up doll 2.0. Green tunic is cool being an option, but most RPGs have armor customization off the ass.
"But Zelda is an Action/Adventure, not an RPG...

A cold and lonely night, in the sky, a ray of blue
A spirit sent from way beyond, indeed her name's Nayru
Piercing through the empty sky
Enrich the land of poor
As fast as light she passes by
Giving spirit of the law
Followed by, not close behind
A goddess to cure sin
A shining red you're soon to find
The power belongs to Din
She creates the mountains
oceans, valleys and features of the land
While Farore strikes in green array
Producing creatures in the sand
Hyrule is born, from the...

Since nobody else has been discussing this here yet, I guess I'll jump in. Feel free to add your own theories or analysis of the new trailer.
Bill Trinen said the following: “As for why we’re holding back on the name, you’ll just have to stay tuned because, obviously, Zelda names are kind of important,” he said to IGN. “Those subtitles…they start to give little bits of hints about maybe what’s going to happen.” This doesn't tell us anything, but it's worth noting...
So, they're releasing...

I was beating OOT on the 3DS once more when something occurred to me:
The six sages died in their respective temples during the adventure.
I personally love this idea just for the fact that it adds much more weight to the mistakes done in the past by Link and Zelda, and it gives more emotional depth to Link's journey. Think about it:
• Darunia perished in his fight against Volvagia (not having the Megaton hammer); you don't really see him after his battle with the dragon inside the...

I was inside the beast, activating terminals, when I entered the room with the chest that contained the silver rupee. There should be a switch in that room to open the gate. There's no switch at all, and I have no way to open the gate or finish the beast. Has anyone encountered this before? I did some digging on Google and haven't found much of anything about it. I really hope my game isn't stuck ..read more

I’d say mine would have to be Four Swords, Phantom Hourglass, and Tri Force Heroes.
Not that I hate any one of these games, mind you. I don’t think there is any objectively bad Zelda game. I like Tri Force Heroes, and I think Phantom Hourglass is okay, and I’ve never even played Four Swords. But they’re the three games that I would probably lose the least sleep over if they hadn’t ever been released ..read more

Yes, I'm late to the party with this one. I love open world games where I can wander around and really do enjoy this game but wow is it maddening. I'm going to complain about things that have been beaten to death. I'm going to certainly be that complainer guy and I HATE that guy. HATE HIM. But man am I that guy with this game.
Yes every sword should break almost immediately (or just slightly after immediately if I only use it to hit the correct "things")
Apparently every...
