Arriving in ANC the night before disembarkment, any recommendations?

Hi All, I recently booked the Alaska cruise that disembarks on Jun 15th. I am arriving to ANC on Jun 14th late at night / Jun 15th early in the morning. I was wondering if there are any options that I could stay at (ie at the airport) or recommendations on a cheap hotel that I should book? I plan to take the bus from ANC airport to the Whittier port on Jun 15th. I appreciate all the help as this is my first time in Alaska! submitted by /u/AnonJJPP [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Cruise tomorrow overbooked ?

Parents got an email with a shift offer as tomorrow's Alaska cruise on Ruby Princess is overbooked. Problem is we have 6 people in 3 cabins going! We all have assigned cabins. Gosh I hope we don't get left at the pier. I have never been on an early season cruise that was sold out much less overbooked. Good luck to all our fellow passengers! submitted by /u/jammu2 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Carribean Princess cabins for 4

Looking at options for cruising for the first time with our kids on Caribbean Princess. We’ve only cruised with just 2 adults so I’m trying to understand the cabin configuration options we have. If we get an interior, ocean view, or balcony cabin, does the main bed have to be arranged as twins with the two pullmans overhead? The website isn’t clear and each YouTube video I’ve found shows that all 4 people have a twin bed. submitted by /u/Aviere [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Website and app

Is it normal to have a lot of trouble with the Princess Cruises website and app? Does it just suck? This is our first cruise with Princess. I am a tech fluent person. But everytime I try to do anything via the website or the app, I end up having to call tech support and they fix it from their end. We have not been able to add our bookings, check in, order medallions, or add excursions without assistance from Princess tech support. This is creating grave concerns in me about how our actual cruise will operate. I am curious what others' experiences have been like. submitted by /u/sdega315 [vis ..read more
