I am planning my first cruise with Princess and I need a little help with understanding the amenities associated with a mini suite.  I have been doing a few fake bookings on their site to understand how Princess works before reaching out to my TA.  If I book an inside room, a standard oceanview, or a balcony, I get the option to upgrade to a package (Princess Plus or Princess Premier).  However, when I book an OceanView Mini Suite (no balcony), there is no option for either package and the booking summary shows "Princess Standard" applied.  Does this mean that an internet a ..read more

We spent a month onboard the Emerald Princess this winter in a Caribe Deck deluxe balcony. Loved the balcony and the cabin, but my goodness the bathroom and shower were ridiculously small!! On the newer ships please tell me if the Caribe Deck balconies are still bigger, and where oh where do I need to book to get a decent sized bathroom and shower? Don't need a bathtub or a couch like the Mini Suites have...we were upgraded to one of those with an incredibly TINY balcony in 2023.   So a BIG BALCONY and A BIG SHOWER.....is that attainable ..read more

We made a reservation a few weeks ago on the Enchanted Princess in a reserve mini suite with a premier package.  On the app it shows that we receive 2 specialty meals but then asks for our credit card number and so we are confused. Sorry if this has already been addressed lately. Did a search and nothing recent came up. We are currently on Royal Princess and I can’t log in to Princess. I’m not getting the “technical difficulties” page, but just getting auto logged out as soon as I log in. Asked at the IT place downstairs and he said it’s been an issue for the last few days. I think it’s strange that there’s been no mention on CC if it is truly an issue. A few days while using an eSIM in port, I had no trouble, but now on ship wifi I can’t log in. Frequent cruiser on the Carnival Dream Class ships that have the Cloud 9 Spa with the Thalassotherapy pool.  I am not a Lido Deck kind of person, so spend a lot of time in the spa (pool, 3 saunas). When I say I spend a lot of time in the Spa, on our last 7-day cruise on the Breeze I totaled about 26 hours in the spa, so yeah, important to me.   Have pretty much said no Dream Class ship, no Spa.  However, we are now thinking of a cruise out of Galveston on the Regal Princess.  I looked at some online videos of the Lotus Spa.  My gut tells me I would be disappointed ..read more
