Honest Question: Should people with documented dementia be allowed to vote in this country?

Would you trust this character to pick the next leader of the free world? This won't be long for two reasons: firstly I no longer have the capacity to author long detailed articles and secondly, its a pretty basic question that is both simple to ask or explain yet almost impossible to answer.  In full transparency, I have Lewy Body Dementia and already know my mental faculties have been impacted. So my first/main question is this: should only sane voters be allowed to vote in say presidential elections? This may sound horrible and set off alarms everywhere but it is a ..read more

A quick explainer; the elevator pitch.     Preface: Greetings, Jeff here. The LBD is taking its toll and the clear moments each day are coming fewer and fewer....which means writing anything at all really takes enormous effort, time and dedication, all things I have in short supply. Personally I thought I was done with this site; nothing wrong with it, it is simply taking more work and mental energy than I have to spend. And yet, something came along that I felt worth the time and effort to share with other cannabis growers and so I will do my best effort to outline it here. Final c ..read more

CBN: The Cannabinoid that you need to learn about

Greetings Kids! Jeff here with a pretty short but heart-felt endorsement. Regular readers will know how hard these later columns are getting for me to write, so understand the importance I put on getting this information out to other patients. Now I will pass on the best information that I have but if you have pointed questions, ask someone in authority like the folks at Future Compounds. I am here as a consumer. I use CBN to augment my normal LBD and Parkinsons regimen. CBN can do alot for you but for this article I will focus on one need that many of us have, regardless of malady: l ..read more

Now that son of a bitching, draft-dodging, cheating, lying bastard of a human, Donald Trump wants to get rid of Stars and Stripes.

I know I have like two readers left, as good as the dementia info is here, the pain that Trump creates overrides what should be mellow final years for me and turns them into daily pain, angst and hell. I am a veteran and how the fuck should I react when he now wants to kill Stars and Stripes and he knows its wrong because he is trying to get away with in before anyone can do anything about it. In fact if the Pentagon were smart they would just sit on his request, let him get upset (he will no matter what) until after the election, at which point saner minds will give the big "Neverm ..read more

So here we are, after almost four years of Trump and now, Trump seriously needs us to believe him when he claims he never disparaged dead US soldiers, the corona virus is going away, he has nothing to hide, he is the only one who can save us from anarchy, the plague, windmills and other horrific shit. The problem for Trump is, he started all this with a lie. It was a lie about shit he didn't even need to lie about yet he did and when it blew up in his face, he doubled-down on a lie so lame it took 10 seconds at Google to prove his ass wrong. Donald Trump needs people like me to belie ..read more

Thanks To The Trellis, The Flat Cannabis Plant

Short story but wanted to share something. This is Beths first crop on her own and as part of that we are sticking with one plant per pot per trellis this go around. One cool thing about there only being a single plant you can get a better feel for the difference using a trellis makes to the cannabis plant. The plant in the short video above is just a standard Tahoe Cure fem that normally grows very bushy/Christmas Tree like...and this plant is about 3-4 weeks old from seed and this very week got flipped from veg to bloom light and feed this very week, like five days ago from when th ..read more

Rant Therapy: Some things from an average American that needs to be said.

I am a disabled American veteran who is aghast at the things he sees everyday in the news, things being said and done in his name, things tarnishing the image of the country he loved dearly enough to enlist in the Army for two hitches.  I have had enough and since my brain disease will likely stop posts from me soon I felt that I needed to get this out.  In no particular order: * Cops: See the message in the graphic I made, explains it all but until you earn the trust and respect that you demand from the public that you are supposed to serve, you have none, because the tr ..read more

What this American thinks, or, There Can Be Only One...
Living With Lewy Body Dementia

As dementia gets worse, it makes understanding the world around you even harder than it was before, so when I see things like poll after poll stating "most Americans think...(fill in the subject here" and they claim shit I have NEVER heard an American opine, I really have to ask where the fuck are they getting their data; they surely never asked me anything. And so I wanted to clear the air, set the record straight, lest anyone takes those polls seriously.  As an ex-engineer, I accept this is a datapoint of one.  About the poster: Jeff is a 60 year-old disabled engineer wi ..read more

Greetings; Jeff here. The title may be misleading, if so, I am sorry. What I meant to say is this: I am on a one-way trip from zero to nuts, brain dribbling out a little more every day. It has already affected my speech centers, both input and output.  However not just the words-in and words-out; rather I am finding trying to translate abstract ideas in my head to full formed speech is becoming very hit and miss. So much so that I am finding its easier to simply not try. Not for every thought and not every moment of the day. However there reaches a point (everyday now) where I go ..read more

A Letter To My Neurologist about Pain and Dementia
Living With Lewy Body Dementia

Preface: I didn't want to write this. I am largely done with things in the grand scheme but recently had some rather disturbing treatment at the Las Vegas Spine and Pain Center.  I am mentally whipped at this stage of things, feels something like the last nine months or so I will be mentally human and dammit, this is a time I was hoping to rest. Originally submitted to my neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic as part of a semi-annual checkup. As with anything I write now, I am constantly fixing aphasic mistakes so I beg the readers patience. Thank you. Alas, a number of months bac ..read more
