I own a few vintage citizen pieces which I think are 7200s, these have high beat, hand wind, and hacking. whereas the modern day miyotas- the 8200s- really only have hand wind (and maybe some of them hack?) I guess my (probably dumb) question is what are the advantages modern miyotas have over these vintage citizen movements? I have this watch for 3 years now, and I never got it running good. Until now. I am speaking of a Seiko Super Chronometer 1130 from the early 50's. The case is polished, but I got another case, that is better, but the previous owner thought it was a good idea to paint it silver... Then I rather use the polished case for now, and have the other case depainted and chromed again. But I have no hurry, because I won't wear this watch very often. But it is a very nice watch...
