Hello All
I'll make this short and sweet.
I purchased a 6426 a while back on ebay with the knowledge that it had service hands.
I asked if that was the only thing that was replaced by the authorized rolex repair place, and they said yes.
The more and more pics I see of the reference 6426, the more I think the word "precision" looks strange on my dial. Is it smaller than it should be? Is this a service dial?
I believe my watch is from the 80's vs the majority of ones I see from the 60s and 70s.
Just curious by someone more knowledgeable my myself.

Hello everyone,
I have a question about a dial-hand combination.
A 1675 from 1968 has a Long E - MK1 dial. As expected with "dead" tritium. However, the hands of the watch are coated with the zinc sulfide mixture, which means that they still react typically and briefly under UV light.
Have you ever seen this before? For me, this combination does not seem impossible in a watch from 1968.
I look forward to your opinions.
Kind regards

Hey guys, I have a 1968 meters first 5513 that I bought several years ago that is missing the pip.
After looking through the threads and pics, I still can't figure what's the correct pip for the watch. Can someone help me determine the pip that the watch originally came with?
Thanks!

Good morning, I'm in search of a "Chicchi di mais" Dial Explorer 2 16570.
To be sure, should I consider serial numbers up to S? So up to '94-'95?
I notice that many have hands that don't match the indices. But some do.
Are there specific serial numbers that have matching hands? Or is it random?
Thanks in advance to all ..read more

Hi everyone,
I know Rolex 8171 is a simple triple calendar watch and not perpetual.
My question is, at the end of the months with 31 day does the month indicator change automatically or do you have to change manually?
I would greatly appreciate it if any owners with first hand information can chime in ..read more

Hey everyone. Would love to post some pictures of my GMT but it says that I need to have a minimum of 10 posts so here is my first.
I inherited a GMT Master (fuschia) from my father. It's from around 1967ish I think. He's passed away so can't really ask him.
It currently isn't working so I'm getting it fixed by a local guy who seems to come well regarded. I'm hoping it's a simple fix. It won't tick but oddly when I pull the crown out to set the date and time if I twist the crown just a little clockwise the second hand starts ticking. Once I let go of the crown it stops. Weird.
Also I was wo ..read more
