Hi All, GI-JOE, Adventure Team. Secret of the Mummy's Tomb 1:12 scale. Figure - The body/hands/boots are from a Damtoys German SS officer and the head is from a Hasbro 6" BS Death Star Trooper which has had a beard and small scare added using putty. Come flex your vintage GI Joe parts knowledge! I got a screaming deal on a dusty pile of shells and parts. These are the bits I'm not recognizing, I doubt they go to the shells (Skystriker, Night Raven, Wolverine, Hiss, Whale), but would love to know what they do go to. Pretty sure at least a couple are probably not GI Joe, as I found a vintage Bespin blaster and Hoth mail away trooper backpack in there too. Starting a thread for anyone jumping into this line. I'm a Sunbow guy so it speaks to me. Wave 1 is expected to start shipping from the factory in early August. They were supposed to be out already but shipping/engineering delays held them up depending on which interview you listen to. Lots of rumors and news prior to Toy Fair. One is Hasbro's attempt to create a GI Joe evergreen line. The other obviously is the licensing to Jazwares. I can see them making 3-3/4 figures. I would really like to see a 6 inch line. Only because it might reinvigorate some energy into the brand like Black Series did. This would be my lineup....with an obvious homage to the first series from 1982 making up the first two waves. Not trying to start an argument with the 3-3/4 scale fans. I like... I just received a veeeery nice 1986 Hawk MOC and a less nice Action Force Airtight MOC today. man I was kind of worried about the Hawk since they said damaged card, and I could barely find a flaw when I got it, plus the seller nicely included a 1987 catalog. Man I love those catalogs ..read more
