  I’m often busy photographing other people’s horses and dogs, so when I get the chance to sneak in sessions of my own boys I always take advantage! Last year I had the chance to travel up to Northern California with Dallas and we made some frequent stops for portraits along the way. I noticed this field just off the side of the freeway while passing through Paso Robles and knew we had to capture some memories.   I absolutely LOVED going back and working with Camryn again, but this time with her new equine partner Dominos! These two are such the dynamic duo in their short time together already.   I always have so much fun heading to new barns and working with girls and their horses! Something about a new property with fresh backdrops and ideas can make my entire week. Hailey’s session was no exception! Not only did we have the chance to work with her personal horse Linus, but her lovely lease mare Cadiz was also present for the session!   Domenica and Balou were the second horse and rider pair I had the pleasure of working with this year in our favorite gorgeous flower field! San Juan Capistrano completely bloomed with all of our rainfall and the sessions coming out of it are probably some of my favorites. Dominica had never done professional photos with her boy and it was a blast getting them off property to capture some magical memories at this location.
