I got myself this kit, I intend to do the option that isn't on the box art but '301' the proto JASDF F-4, but, seeing a really cool video of the last of these Japanese Phantoms I can see '301' isn't in the same paint as the other three ADTW F-4's, it's a lighter grey, I'm thinking it's the underside colour of the other three only over all of the airframe, this one was built by McDonnell Douglas and shipped to Japan so anyone... I've managed to make a start on my first 1/144 Tornado, and I'm enjoying it. Twice I nearly lost a tiny part to the carpet abyss, but I got lucky, must be a good omen. Iv put the cockpit together with some basic painting and fixed the outer nose around it. Looks like the nose will need a little work to smooth the seam line, and a little painting and touching up inside the cockpit is needed.
