Today I scored the mother load at the Goodwill Outlet store in Akron, OH. It's a store where they charge by the weight v. per item. So, stuff is much cheaper than usual. This may be my last posting for some time, as I absolutely am out of room. I've become far too addicted to this hobby, and I seriously need to stop the hoarding. Yesterday I found this "Holiday Waltz" diorama by Mr. Christmas. Made in 1996. I found it at a Goodwill in Canton, Ohio for $7. It's a Victorian Ballroom diorama, with 5 couples that dance around the ballroom dance floor. You plug it in, and it lights up, plays music and watch the couples dance. It came in the original box and everything was included except for the clarinet player. The piano had 2 broken legs, which I replaced with toothpicks and painted. Marley's Ghost! I found this today at the Goodwill in Medina, Ohio for $8. Light included. No box. Excellent condition. Stamped "Santa's Workbench Collection Victorian Series Brooks Terrace 2005". It's Scrooge being visited by Marley's ghost, chains and all. I'm sorry that I can't get a better shot with my camera than this. It looks much better with the naked eye.
