Hi All! I received a Xerox WorkCentre 7830 second hand from the company I work for. The company bought it outright a number of years ago and had a maintenance agreement with a local reseller where we paid per print and they sent us toner and maintained the machine. I bought non metered toner and while trying to get it set up I was trying to clear out the old company settings which began my problems. Recently I had to install a new Xerox AltaLink B8100 series printer with a finisher, and everything was good and done. I have a client with an older xerox Workcentre that is presenting a strange issue that I cannot find any leads on. All I'm finding from xerox support are guides to change sleep/low power mode settings which has no bearing on the issue. Basically, the machine powers on and appears to boot normally until you hear it start to spin and warm up, at which point it immediately goes into what looks like power save mode (screen turns off, energy save button lit) and cannot be woken up or powered off properly.
