Typical situation: just about to do a largish print run on a Xerox Workcentre 7125; check the supplies menu and Magenta is at only 3%. No problem I've got C, M and Y cartridges unopened in their boxes. Unwrap a magenta one, shake it a bit, put it in place. "Cartridge Error"! Removed it, firmly put it back in. Same result.
