Folks: SB 367/AB1486 was just signed by the governor and backtags are no longer required, while hunting, anywhere in NYS. Hunters will not get a backtag, with their 2024-25 hunting license. In addition, all licenses and tags will, now, be printed on plain paper. The special Valeron® material will no longer be used.
