Elite female athletes are currently in a prosperous but hard growth phase. With majority of our Australian/NZ team sports, the female spaces are full of new opportunity, but also huge responsibility.
Traditionally as the care-takers of the house hold based on societal norms, many of our young, old or new female professional athletes are having to manage this space with limited expertise.

Finding the gap between who we are and who we want to be through understanding your environment and the people you give your time too.
In a high school environment there is an obscene amount of pressure on our young people. Unfortunately in a space where social heirachy either helps you fit in or makes you feel isolated, our young women aren't able to grasp their sense of self and instil self-belief when they are trying to mould themselves for safety - a friendship group etc.

Balancing Self-Compassion and Accountability.
We are human. Everyone has their own perception of personal development, purpose and ways to cope in this world.
My podcasting journey was started to increase education and awareness for myself, and hopefully in the process, allow others to learn from my mistakes and different learnings.
Resetting away from your flourishing environment takes a lot of falling down, but I will keep working on improving myself, my focus and my attention.
