Through me installing some unsupported hardware I broke the nvidia GPU driver installer. Today I swapped out that hardware with supported hardware and the nvidia gpu became functional again. But I discovered a race condition with the plex server, as both the nvidia gpu drivers and plex QTS start up in QTS, its possible for plex to start before the nvidia driver has fully done its thing, that meant that if I leave plex at start up, I wont have hw encoding. Synology version 7.2.1 / Plex version 1.40.1.8227 I have hundreds of movies in Plex which are stored in Synology and they all play fine. Same for TV series. For some reason a movie I added plays okay but it skips parts. The movie file will play fine on VLC or Media & TV player on Windows 10. I’ve removed the movie and re-added it several times but nothing seems to allow the movie to play as it does outside of Plex. I even burned it again and it also won’t play correctly in Plex. Hello Recently switched Nas drives to upgrade to a more powerful and more space new NAS. Plex will see the new server but it says add media. I copied over all the plex data from the folder and app data etc into the same folder on my new NAS but it does not see the media.
