Its been a hot, hot summer. The rear window of my 2013 roadster separated from the convertible soft top. Preliminary research tells me I can't just replace or have the window re-attached. Seems I need to replace the entire top. Is this the case? Is there any way to repair the top and re attach the window?
If not, what are suggested routes to get the top replaced? Should I go to the dealer? Should I buy the soft top and take to someone to attach?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.  ..read more

So I was hoping someone might have a idea of the issue I am having. My air conditioning will only blow cold air when I first start the car but as soon as I start to drive or accelerate it goes straight to warm. Compressor is working and it is charged with refrigerant. I was thinking a vacuum leak but if anyone can help I would be so grateful  ..read more

Hey folks,
I have 2012 Mini Cooper Base that needs a head gasket replacement and milky oil flush, maybe even a coolant flush. Does anyone know someone that has a garage that could help me out with this? Either that can do it for not an arm and a leg or that could provide me with the space and advice for me to work on it (slowly). I'm the son of a mechanic but all my gear and space is back in California. Know this is a bit strange of an ask, maybe, but thought I'd ask the group for advice, suggestions, and/or pointing me in the right direction. thanks!
Best,
Gabe ..read more

I’m thinking of running the aquamist hfs3 to accompany my most recent mod, the tpr2r from Mike Schultz. I’m curious about anyone’s setup because I’d really like to run the pump and tank outside of the cabin. I’d like to use the headlight washer but I want to gravity feed the pump so I don’t know what options I have. Is there any component that allows for running the pump above the tank ..read more

Quick question while I'm at work and researching....
1992 Rover Mini, my current tire size is 10". I want to stay at 10", but want wider tire/wheel. Does anyone know if 10" X 8" would work and where the best place to order them is, to include installation to ensure it's correctly done with any spacers, etc. etc. and etc.?
Thanks for any info in advance ..read more

I picked up a flat tire this morning and am left in a bit of a weird tire state, so I was hoping to get y'all's opinions on where to go from here.
I drive a 2017 four door hardtop (F55), currently wearing Bridgestone DriveGuards (all-season, run-flat, 205/45R17) and they've mostly served me well. The car is a commuter, so long-lasting and reliable are really the most important here. I've gone back and forth on run-flats, I know the compromises, but being able to get a flat, drive home, drive to the tire shop a few days later to get them fixed, that all sounds way better than calling AAA ..read more
