I got a new car. It really is @00Mini fault. He feeds my BAT addiction. Before anyone thinks I am spending super big money I am not. Yesterday my wife and I were at a home show, the ford dealer parks cars in the driveway of each house during the show. I'm new to the forum. I don't have a Mini yet, but my daughter does. She is 2k miles away and I'm researching her difficulties. Her accelerator pedal input is intermittently suppressed. I'm thinking that the brake input to the cruise control has a fail-safe feature that is causing this condition (happens in repeated brake use scenarios (traffic, drive thru etc). Are there two brake switched mounted in the same location for these two functions? are they on the pedal lever under the dash?...
