To me, cheese is the ultimate comfort food. Cheddar, mozzarella, brie, gouda — it’s all so delicious! If you’re a fellow cheese aficionado (aka cheese is your life, because, same), then don’t let another day go by without trying Joanna Gaines’ cheese balls recipe. The interior design pro is also well-known for her food, and these cheese balls are pretty much the perfect snack.
Three kinds of cheese (cream cheese, cheddar, and gouda) are required for this recipe, as well as sun-dried tomatoes, chopped fresh dill or basil, garlic salt, and black pepper. Once you make the two cheese balls, you ca ..read more

There it was, sitting in our office kitchen: a mostly devoured container of bar cookies (two tiny slivers remained) with a sign that read churro cheesecake bars. Intrigued, I snatched up the second-to-last piece. Not too sweet, loaded with cream cheese, and with just enough cinnamon sugar to make each bite churro-ified, that tiny bite left me wanting and needing more.
I don’t often mass-email our office, but this was important business; I had to find out who made these bars and get the recipe ASAP.
Hours ticked by with no response, and my heart sank. And then an email popped up spilling the se ..read more

If you’ve taken a tennis lesson or drill, you’ve probably heard the phrase, “Keep your eye on the ball!” often. That seems like good advice because you DO need to know where the ball is at all times, right? Of course! But in doubles tennis, you must also know where your opponents are at all times.
I used to be that player who always kept my eye on the ball. When I was up at net, I’d track the ball all the way back to my partner at the baseline. And by the time I turned back around to face my opponents, I had no idea what was going on. Needless to say, the point usually ended with me flailing m ..read more

I will never forget a French Open watch party that my team had some years ago. We watched the women’s singles final between Garbiñe Muguruza and Serena Williams and noshed on a fabulous French brunch with a mimosa bar. Ahhhhh. . . what a super fun time!
Here’s an interesting fact: fans aren’t allowed to take alcohol into the stadiums at Roland Garros. . . which is probably why I’ve never been, lol! Just kidding (or am I?). I’ve never been to Roland Garros because Paris is so far away, travel and accommodations are beyond my budget. . . and alcohol isn’t allowed in the stadiums.
Fortunately, I ..read more

To be successful on clay, you must be flexible with your footwork. That takes agility, balance, and above all, the right tennis shoes.
For tennis players, competing on a clay court is far more demanding than on a hard surface. The longer points require more patience, and the trickier bounces mean constant adjustments. However, the greatest demand is a clay court’s uneven, slippery surface which highlights the need for balance, assured movement, and proper footwork. Players who know how to slide into their shots make clay court coverage look like an elegant art form; players who treat the surfa ..read more

It’s a fact: tennis matches are usually decided by errors. Even the world’s top players can make more mistakes than winners.
The player who makes the most mistakes will lose the match, whether in a league match or a Grand Slam final.
The big difference between you and the more experienced pro is that you tend to lose more points due to a single mistake.
You become frustrated.
You get “tight.”
You lose concentration.
One or all of the above can lead to more errors and sometimes cause you to give up on the match entirely.
Can you now see how vital it is that you learn about managing your error ..read more
