Bets way to smooth nasal creases/folds

I’m relatively new to modifying meshes via sculpt tools, and wanted to ask if anyone had any tips on how to best smooth out the nostril folds as seen below. I’m currently using the elastic deform tool, but even while adjusting the radius, I can’t seem to manipulate the mesh enough to create a smoother look to the nose. Any help is appreciated! 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Revived a neglected portfolio piece that earned a “WOW ” from my biggest supporter, my wife! Through various projects and mentorship roles, I’ve mastered hardware, software, art direction, and project management. Still learning! Crafted in Blender 4.0.2, polished in Photoshop. How would I go about making the intricate designs on this staff? This is my current model, but when it comes to the engravings and design, I’m not sure where to start. Any videos and/or tips would be much appreciated! 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Array of muliple objects

Hello everyone, I try to model leaves of a flower. Each leaf is group of serveral objects. The 3 leaves have to follow the curve of the stem. For each leaf, the objects have an empty parent “Feuille empty”. Then i made an instance on a plane “Plane Feuille”. When i set 2 modifiers : array of 3 objects curve on the stem The problem is that when the curve is applied the original leaf is still visible in rendered image. On the following screenshot, i put a red rectangle of the leaf that i don’t want to appear. You can also see the outliner and the modifiers of the plane. Thanks for the solutio ..read more

Geometry Nodes calculating wrong

I’m using geometry nodes in a mesh to randomize trees in this mesh, but it looks like this (first image). I created another plane and it works fine, but I don’t want to redo everything because I don’t even know what’s causing this problem. 5 posts - 2 participants Read full topic ..read more

Recently I made a collection of 13 building models that have some procedural controls such as window light control and rooftop material controls. The buildings are completely textured. Here is the wireframe: The buildings vary in poly count but should be relatively lightweight. I made a free sample pack containing 4 of the buildings. You can download that on my gumroad: https://mart0nnn.gumroad.com/l/citybuildingassetpack And the full pack is available for purchase on Blendermarket for 6 USD: Blender Market City Building Assets A collection of 13 city building models Price ..read more

Ended up with Two Armatures, Mesh Changes when I Delete the Unwanted One

Not sure if this should be in the “Animation and Rigging” category, but this seems to be an issue with the mesh also, rather than with poses/animation. So, idk how I did this, but I somehow ended up with two armatures (ig maybe I started one, forgot I made it, and started a new one) So now we got two armatures, Armature and Armature.001, and it’s seemingly causing a bunch of weight painting symmetry issues. Once I deleted Armature, the change between Image 1 and Image 2 occurs, causing the mesh of the hand (and probably other stuff too tbh) shifting. Is there some sort of way to keep/restore ..read more

Had to much fun during creating what was meant to be a small example use case for a geometry nodegroup. Went way overboard. Hopefully the headaches wont be to bad … and yeah do not blame me for the ridiculous cable management. The mentioned group was used to create the stairs, the hanging pearl chains and some of the cables. Geometry nodes was also used to wrap the cable around the railing and a few other smaller details. For placing the several items like the stickers on the wall or the lights on stairs, railing and serpent i made use of my face2face addon. Please do not buy it at the momen ..read more
