Systems that once were limited to a desktop are now fully immersive experiences with real controls and 360 degrees of out-the-window visuals by incorporating Extended Reality (XR). The Prepar3D v5.4 update includes a large number of performance, stability, and usability improvements across the entire platform. General application performance has been improved through better background thread performance. Flight Simulation Association’s annual FlightSimExpo is scheduled for June 23-25, 2023 in Houston. This year, the three-day event features a series of product reveals at a hotel on Friday, June 23, followed by the usual exhibits and seminars at the Lone Star Flight Museum on June 24-25.
