This week, I talk about why I hate shaving, my beef with eurocentric beauty standards and how they've affected me personally, and personal style trends. Then, I answer to two different people who need help with being hard on themselves and leaving a relationship that no longer serves them. Finally, I talk about which states are the best and worst in the USA for women's equality (you can read the article by clicking here) and the death of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. In this episode, I mistakenly refer to the United King ..read more

Hello beautiful people! In this week's episode, I resume where I left off last episode and continue to talk about why social media is a problem. Social media was designed to be addictive, encourages us to overshare, and preys on our insecurities, so we can put money in other people's' pockets and feel worse about ourselves and our lives. How fun! Just kidding. We're all a victim of it, and it's time that we talk about it. The best way to know yourself and other people isn't through social media; some old fashioned quality time is still the way to go. Also, everything is an illusion and nothing ..read more

Hellooo beautiful people! On this week's episode, I share more about my life and how I've spent half of it (yes... half) on social media. Then, I go into the reasonings I have for abandoning social media as much as possible and how important it is to be mindful of your social media usage. Disabling notifications, limiting your screen time, and unfollowing those celebrities who make you feel like shit can be such a beautiful thing! Next week, I'll talk more about how social media perpetuates gender norms and promotes harmful behaviors for women, men, and everybody in between.

Finally, I go into the importance of setting your life up for success regardless of your relationship status. I hope you enjoy! Don't forget to leave a rating + review, and follow the podcast if you like hearing me talk about society & culture. Have a great week ..read more

In this week's episode, I talk about how gender norms and expectations make their first appearance in our childhood, how our identity is shaped with the influence of the patriarchy, and how our identity affects our relationships with other people. Since I love you guys and don't think many people love themselves enough, I also share some tips I've learned about how to love yourself more and have better relationships with people... at least, in my opinion. AND I got a new microphone and editing software, so you guys can hear my heavy breathing and lisp a whole lot better!
