Hi,   I'm having problems getting my DA down .   Before any mods my DA was heavy: beyond 8lbs   After smoothing out the parts noted in Atlas's guide with 2000grit and polishing compound AND installing CGW Pro Kit with 11.5lb Hammer Spring: DA 7.5lbs SA 3.1lbs   Then I found nothing's guide on the CZ forum which he got 4lb DA: https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=42644.0   I followed it:   Bought aluminum oxide paper in 400, 800, 1500 and tired flitz this time.  I worked up the grits rather than starting at 2000.   I scratch in different directions ..read more

Starting today, my shadow 2 when I load and make ready for carry optics, I try and drop the hammer to set like rules state but the hammer feels like it’s locked in place and won’t move. If I try again - restart trying to drop it it will work or maybe after another go. At a loss to what it is  ..read more

update: I figured it out. It was the pre travel screw out too far. It was fine with the slide off but with it on it didn’t work.     Mods Move to "other" if not allowed here but I figured since its a CZ/Tanfo Clone guys here would know whats up best.    I got this inexpensive Sar K12 to mess around with a low budget LO build. Just got the slide back from being milled and with the slide on I seem to be having issues im assuming with sear engagement that are not present with the slide off.    When I rack the slide the hammer goes back and stays back but doesn't ..read more

I was able to find a TS2 fixed sight from X-Ray parts in Italy and got it in only 5 days. Very slick. No one had them in the States, that I could find.    The reason I wanted a fixed rear is I’ve broken two adjustables on the .40 TSO. Also, it needed to be the TS2 factory rear because of the aftermarket hammer profile. On my TSO, I put in an Apex Tactical hammer and sear which works great but the hammer has a different height and profile than factory. So it would hit the CZC fixed rear that I tried. I got this forever ago, sold it to a buddy, and recently bought it back. I remember something about CGW parts but can’t recall the specifics.    the hammer is obviously upgraded. The trigger is too (it’s threaded for one screw. Cz85?), the trigger pin and firing pin look aftermarket as well.    the DA honestly sucks so I’m not sure what’s going on there.
