I recently bought a police trade in Glock 22, which is chambered in .40 S&W. Since my other pistols (except for .22s) are all 9mm, I dropped a 9mm conversion barrel and a Glock 17 mag in it. I traded off a couple of less needed/wanted guns (trying to thin the herd and calibers), and used that towards this new G43X. I am taking it to the range in the morning, running three different types of JHP's through it, and going to wrap it up with three more magazines of ball rounds. I did not want to get back into the .380 Auto caliber again, but could not help myself...I like the little bugger. I had a SCCY CPX-3, got me back into the caliber, but wanted something a little more reliable. The SCCY would malfunction, about every thirty rounds or so...I did not trust it. I took it and another "less desirable" non-Glock, and traded them off, plus some cash, for this new G42. I usually put Hogue Jr grips on all my polymer guns. But, the built in flared magwells on the Gen 5 Glocks are just to wide to get the damn thing on. The Hogue Jr grips are admittedly made for smaller guns. So, I had been using a bicycle innertube piece for the past couple of years. Ugly, but works. Very well known trick on the gun forums. Hi everyone! I'm contemplating changing the connector in my Glock 43X to the "-" connector - something like a Ghost connector - which is supposed to lower trigger pull weight, which should help with accuracy. I've never done this before...does it help? Is it difficult to do? It seems easy from the Youtube videos but don't want to screw anything up. Is this a wise decision considering this is my carry gun? Well, I was surprised at how much I like my Glock 42 - with the +2 Taran Tactical magazine extensions. So, 8+1 rounds.... I had surgery over the summer, and I could not carry anything heavier on my side until very recently. So, this little G42 has been great.
