Picked up a ronin 45acp LW ,with ramped 4.25 barrel, did very well, all reloads swc,lrn,230 fmj,ran every thing, worried about it at first with all the 45acp doesn't need ramped barrel, but this one works ..read more

Hi All, A couple of years (or so) ago, when the Emissary was released, it really caught my eye. I like the classic looks of a 1911 as much as the next guy, but like the modernized look of the Emissary, too. Handled one in the LGS and almost bought it, but was gun poor that day so I held off. Around that time, I saw occasional mention of the Emissary on a few of the gun boards, but almost nothing since. I don't think I've seen one under the glass at any local shops lately, either... So yesterday, went into local shop, to pick up my Gunsite GSP with custom serial number from Finks. The clerk says, hey, I know you like 1911, got something to show you. He trots out a unfired older model TRP staninless in the blue plastic springfield container. So, I left with my new Gunsite and a TRP on lay a way.
