It is unfortunate that the kubota tractor area of the Garden Tractor Talk forum gets so little posting. Maybe it is because the kubota's are so well made that they cause little trouble. I have owned 4 of them and hand no problems with any. About 8 months ago I bought a L185 tractor that appeared to be in good condition from a dealer for $1750. Picked this up for my wife(I have a Cub Cadet 782d diesel powered GT), Came with a snow blower, rear PTO driven tiller, cat 0 3pt hitch with rear PTO, hyd lift for all attachments. Mower deck is there but needs some serious work to ever be useable again. I need a good muffler for it. The hole nose of the muffler body is rusted out and making a mess out of the grill from soot and heat. Anybody got one off a parts tractor?? I did the ultimate stupid thing today after owning a Kubota L4630 tractor for over 14 years. On a diesel we know to NEVER run out of fuel but today I pushed it and had to walk in from the field after my Kubota tractor died due to no fuel……STUPID on my part. I bled the line at the pump then bled each line coming out of the pump with no luck. It starts and runs for maybe 5 sec and dies…..any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks ..read more

I just bought a Kubota G1900 with 4 wheel steer. It has fairly low hours, but needs some TLC. I've gone through it and lubed it, etc. and will be changing out the transmision fluid, filter, and do an oil change son. It has a 54" deck that had a grass catcher at one time... the blower drive is still attached to the mower deck, but nothing else is there. I've seen some 3 bag grass catchers for Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, etc. on sale here locally and am thinking of getting one and adapting it... Kubota G-series Grass Catcher ..read more
