Hey guys!
I own two of these 70mai omni dash cams. For some reason in my car I am unable to update the firmware and use the 4g features. For the other one all worked fine a long time ago.
It seems like that the update package is stuck on 0-3% all the time and its just not transfering. Is there any way I can update it from my laptop?
Everything seems to be working, but except the fact that i cannot update.
Maybe if someone has a way that i could use to update the webcam wired, or wireless...

Hello. Pretty often my A229+ 2ch asks me to format the SD card, when it has not gone 30 days (the reminder setting i've set). So I'm starting to think something is not right. I noticed one time when i wanted to save a video that the Front video wasn't saved, so that might also be a symptom of something.
I use a card recommended by Viofo here, the 256GB SanDisk MAX ENDURANCE...

I'm worried about someone scratching my car while opening the door or even vandalism.
I would like to have a camera with 360º view around the car windows.
I would power it with external battery.
My idea would be to install the camera in the middle of the car or maybe between the backseets head rest and I imagine the camera recording all windows.
Similar to 70mai Omni if were recording all time 360º.
The second idea woul be something like Vantrue N5. Would it be also good?
But...

Hello All,
my Thinkware F200 Pro randomly gives three short dings and I have no idea what it means.
I reached out to support in my local country (Australia) and they have no idea what it means.
I asked if they can pass the question back to Korea and they are unable to.
I am trying to see if anyone else, anywhere, has reported the issue or can get me an answer.
The three “quick dings” are not mentioned in any of the Thinkware Youtube videos, the manual and no one on line mentions it.
(I...

I found some web pages that discussed FFMPEG commands to take a Front & Rear video file and combine into a single file with a PIP rear view (similar to how the Blackvue Viewer app looks).
I decided to create a .CMD file, suitable for use with Windows, to allow me to automatically generate such a video from my download folder. I'm sharing this with the community here. The attached Zip includes the .cmd itself and a ReadMe.txt explaining how to set it up. You'll need to download FFMPEG.exe...

I have a Blackvue DashCam 600GW which is hardwired since 2014. It has a DC connection to it, I believe its 12V. I am interested in purchasing an E1 Vantrue which I believe runs on 5V via USB ( their dashcam hardwire has this available - https://www.vantrue.net/product/hardwire_kit_for_x4s_n4_n2s_e1
So if I don't get their hardwire kit, can I just get a female DC to USB-C and power it on? I don't know how these work but is it going to damage it or do these kits have some auto...

I'm completely new to this subject so any advice would be welcome.
I'd like to install one or perhaps two CCTV cameras at the front of my house. I already have a Synology NAS which runs software that can control ONVIF cameras and store recordings on its internal drive. I understand I can do this with cameras wired direct into the router, or with Wi-Fi cameras on the router network.
We already keep all of our important files on the Synology NAS, and access is limited to our home network for...
