I am a international (URM if it matters) 34 years old I have 10 years W/E (Half as a manager). GPA 3.91 GRE: 333
I'm not asking for a profile review wholistically but rather if it's practical to get an MBA from an M7 or T10 with my age and work experience.

I'm in a F500 finance rotation program and can choose the department I join for my last 1-year rotation. My options are the typical finance/accounting functions in a F500: internal audit, tax, treasury, FP&A, strategy, business line FA, etc. If my ultimate goal is T25 MBA, which experience would look best on my resume?

For the past two years I expected to be applying to law school. Not entirely sure what changed for me but that just doesn’t seem like what I’ll be doing. I’m a 22 y/o White Male with a bachelors in philosophy (3.6 GPA). My GPA is low because of two cases of plagiarism that resulted in F’s (I ignorantly switched from STEM to Philosophy because I was green and thought law schools would care about my major; obviously my writing ability could’ve been better). I scored a 174 on the LSAT and a 164verbal 167quant on the GRE. I’m first gen, low income so I’ve worked part time since high school - full ..read more

Hi all - I’m starting my MBA at H/S this fall with 3YOE at MBB. I’m not taking sponsorship as I don’t want to return to consulting. Any suggestions on realistic exit opps to prepare myself heading into the fall?
I’m interested in tech bizops/S&O (what my app was about) but worry it’s not realistic in this environment

This is mainly for people trying to break into the tech industry. Are people prioritizing roles with high compensation or roles that let you build the skills/experience you want with more opportunities for growth in the future?
It seems like a lot of startup roles, especially early stage, are paying on the lower end (~150k total comp) versus 200-300k at more established companies.
For past graduates, were you happy taking the startup role because it accelerated your career and opened up other opportunities? Or do you regret it?

Interview is on Friday for CSOM (Boston College); planning on button up with a quarter zip sweater and dress pants. Is that not formal enough/should I go suit?

I am nearing the end of the first year of my EMBA and wanted to understand the general consensus of Warwick Business School and its reputation.
I aim to switch industry from Tech to consulting or PE and was wondering how well WBS are placed within those industries.
I’m based in London and would be looking at London positions post grad, and at some point in the future, the US.

Hey, I'd like to get some advice on choosing my summer internship. I am deciding between two options for my summer internship.
Consulting - $45 / hr, the working hour is flexible from 40 to 50 hours a week. It is a fully remote job
Corporate finance internship - $44 / hr, it is a hybrid internship. I need to be in the office only twice a week.
Which one would you guys choose? I'd appreciate it. Also do you guys think that these internship pays are lower end, compared to other summer MBA internships?
Thank you all in advance.

I imagine this is the most important factor. A Stanford grad would have a higher probability in SF because their interviewers will probably be GSB grads too. If they apply to LA, they’ll probably be interviewed by people from other schools, who won’t favor them the same way.
Would it make sense for someone at GSB to apply to SF, or someone at HBS to apply to Boston, even if these are competitive offices, if they’re trying to optimise their chances?
