So, I’m starting to do some basic research into grad school admissions once I complete my undergrad degree in either Spring 2027 or Spring 2028, depending on how my AP and dual enrollments transfer. My end educational goal is to earn a Dual MBA/JD, and I’m trying to get a better grasp on the process. Can someone give some ideas on what I should be doing starting Freshman year of college to be competitive? Is it basically the same as undergrad admissions or is it totally different? I know about the LSAT and have started working on getting ready for that, but that’s all I really know that is dif ..read more

Son is a freshman in college and plans to go for his MBA right out of college- currently double majoring in Financial management and Marketing. We are looking for advice on where to start with getting prepared for GMAT. Obviously we are too early for a prep book/ class, but what is important to do now to be best prepared when he does take it? Are there certain college classes that will naturally help prepare him? And if so which ones ?And what is the timeline to take the test of hoping to apply and get into grad school right from college? Thanks for any advice- this is all new to us!

Before US News, there was Business Week - now Bloomberg Business Week - and their rankings mattered. When I went to grad school in the mid 90s, IU’s B School was #7 for MBA.
This year - 31, down 9 from last year.
My alma mater fell from 32 to 39…it wasn’t long ago (a few years), we were making like UF undergrad and rising Harvard also took a fall out of the top 5 while UVA has moved up in big fashion. If you can open the article, you’ll see who fell off including I think it said Babson, U of SC, UCSD. Looks like Rice, SMU, CUNY Baruch and Wisconsin were big winners.

My S is a college senior and is just getting started with the process of applying to deferred MBA programs. He’ll be taking some practice GRE and GMAT tests this week to determine which would be a better test for him. For letters of recommendation, I’m guessing he will ask one professor and one person from his internship. For the professional letter, does it seem better to ask a leader from the team he worked on who has more direct experience with his work, or someone more senior in the company (a partner who has been involved in mentoring him)?
Any tips on writing the personal statement? Any ..read more

They are way too many assignments in our finance course. I don’t know if it is necessary to write all of them. Do they even help us enhance our knowledge? I have been hiring finance assignment help experts from financeassignmenthelp .com to complete my assignments for me. I did it with my last 3 assignments. I even scored 90+ on all of them. It saved my time. Am I doing the right thing? Please suggest.

For the HBS 2+2 MBA program, which undergrad major will be better between finance and human resource management? Or undergraduate major won’t make any difference?

Long story short, I’m finally getting my undergrad career together.
I left HS with a 3.25 GPA and enrolled in Southern Connecticut State University, with the hope to do my first year part-time (as a semi-gap year). COVID hit and my grades suffered, but I am rounding out sophomore year with a 3.15 after a sophomore year of 4 classes (fall) and 5 (spring)
I am transferring to Quinnipiac University (International Business major) for my remaining undergrad years. In my first two years of school I haven’t been involved, so I want to set time aside for relevant clubs and organizations (finance, inte ..read more
