Evening all, Got to the gun shop this afternoon after work and they still had the gun. I paid $350 for it and thought that was a decent price but I will post the pictures in a minute from my phone to here. I cannot figure out how to date it, it has a serial number but no prefix in front of it so that should be between 67 and 77 I think was how I read it but I will include the pictures with the codes as well ..read more

I owned as a kid. And not at a scalper's price either. This one's probably a wee bit newer than mine was as this has the polymer butt plate instead of the Aluminum one that was on my first one. My original one put several squirrels in the frying pan. After I move maybe this one will contribute to the larder. Only thing I really want to do is an older vintage 1-4x Burris or Leupold scope and carefully polish the trigger group. BTW- perfect timing as the LGS I picked it up from had...
