A most excellent day for shooting, with Mother Nature giving it here best to provide a perfect time. No wind, temperature in the low 80s and not a cloud to be seen. I realized today I had no small 22. All mine are full size big and heavy models. Want would happen if you were tooling thru the woods and your main piece failed. It would be like having a flat tire. Drove up to the range today and it didn't look like it was going to be worth the trip. Seeing the flag fully unfurled in the wind conditions seemed to be difficult to say the least. After paying and Seeing so few shooter the Range Master explained that the range had been closed do to wind. It was so heavy 9 target frames broke and few around the bay. Picked up an Armscor 1600 the other day for a bargain and was intrigued by it. Imported by K.B.I. Inc. of Harrisburg, PA; manufactured in the Philippines. Designed to look like an M16. Ran 1 magazine through it with no issues. Plan to have a longer shooting session with it soon.
