I recently bought a case of SK Standard+ ammo for inexpensive informal shooting. I used to compete in !R50/50 matches and started getting low on the Eley Match, that I used to compete with. Not wanting or needing to spend $18 a box for ammo for informal shooting, I decided to give SK Std + ammo a try. It was good when I shot SK ammo when I first got into BR shooting 25 years ago. Trying to decide on a good support bag for NRL / PRS rimefire events. The two suggested to me from different shooting buddies are both the Game Changer bags, one likes the pint size sticky and the other likes his Schmediam waxed cloth. I am looking to set up a "Rimfire Sporter" rifle to shoot in my gun club's Indoor Rimfire Sporter Matches for next winter. The Marlin 795 and 7000 are what I am interested in. My dilemma is 7000's are very difficult to find for sale, 795's are easy to find, buy. Question: will a 795 keep up with a 7000 group size? The indoor matches are fired at standard 50 feet targets. After a brick of sk standard, the 1761 is starting to show potential, since i own a 457 mtr and a tikka t1x upr that shoot really good, my expectation was high. Yesterday was rainy with a 11 km wind but since i was working at the club i ad time to do some shooting before the client arrive, did 6 groups of 5 shots at 50 meter and was happy with the result.
