Ever since I started shooting my CZ 457 Varmint, I pondered on modifying my Ruger 10/22T to see if I could get it to run with the CZ. Ole Stalking Bear(Neil) did a trigger job for me years ago, and it really helped the Ruger's accuracy, but it still isn't what I want. I've had it in a Boyd's Evolution stock for many years - I love that stock, but it just isn't suited for shooting off a font rest. I was at a gun show this weekend and got to thing why I couldn’t put a .17 Mach 2 barrel into my Ruger 10-22 rifle but replace the barrel with the .17 Mach 2 since the Mach 2 is a .22 shell casing. Has anyone done or known someone to do this and if it worked or not? Thanks in advance ..read more
